ACHD to Temporarily Close Lobby to the Public

Beginning Monday, November 23rd, the Ada County Highway District will close its lobbies to the public in another step to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Staff members will work virtually to fulfill public requests, and members of the public can make an appointment to meet with a staff member as necessary.

Since March, ACHD has been holding all meetings virtually (including Commission meetings and public open houses), and staff members who are able to work from home are doing so. The agency has taken great steps to implement proper COVID-19 health measures in accordance with guidelines issued from the CDC, Central District Health, and Governor Little to ensure the care and safety of all staff.

It is unclear at this time when ACHD lobbies will reopen to the public, though ACHD leadership will frequently be reviewing the latest community health statistics to determine the appropriate time to do so.
