Traffic Control Review Coordinator
Applications are now being accepted for a Traffic Control Review Coordinator in the Development Services Department. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a starting
wage range of $26.00 - $29.90 per hour, DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:
- The Traffic Control Review Coordinator is responsible for the review of Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) plans.
- Under the direction of the Manager, the Traffic Control Review Coordinator will supervise, coordinate and review the activities of the Traffic Analysts.
- The Traffic Control Review Coordinator is responsible for training the Traffic Analyst on accessibility compliance.
- The Traffic Control Review Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the IT Department to maintain the RITA program.
Qualifications:
- Requires strong communication skills (both verbal and written), coupled with the ability to work as a liaison between the Accessibility Compliance staff, other departments, and with the public.
- The successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of the MUTCD, temporary traffic control requirements within a work zone, and plan design and traffic control review.
- Working knowledge of ADA and other accessibility regulations, engineering principles and practices, and ACHD policy.
- Must have the ability to mentor, review work, and train others in methods and techniques in a specialized industry.
- Three to five years of previous experience in a similar position related to the development and/or review of TTC plans is required. Possession of an active TCS certification from ATSSA within one year is required.
- Requires a valid Idaho Driver's License with the ability to operate ACHD vehicles in the completion of duties.
- Any combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, is acceptable.
